Most practices keep their teaching material in a filing cabinet, or post it as a slide deck nobody opens. These talks answer the questions patients actually arrive with — why do I react to foods I have eaten all my life, why do I feel worse every year while every test comes back normal, what is actually going on with my hormones — so they are worth reading whether or not you ever become a patient.
The original slide decks are still downloadable from each article and from the resources page. They date from the early 2000s; the physiology has aged well, but anything that reads as a health claim should be discussed with Dr. Sheppard or your physician rather than acted on alone.
